Thickened macadamia cream

This thick macadamia cream is ideal for vegans or anyone avoiding dairy. It has a delightful creamy texture and the date and vanilla give it a slightly sweet flavour. Perfect served over fresh strawberries!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup macadamias
  • 1/2 cup macadamia milk
  • 1 date
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence

Instructions
 

  • Place all ingredients in the jug of a high speed blender. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth. Place the mixture in a serving bowl, cover and refrigerate for at least 12 hours. Store in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Serve with fresh fruit or as an alternative to cream with any dessert.
